CORRAD Application Framework is built within our model driven architecture, thus giving us infinite flexibility to provide our clients with the software system they need. More importantly is the ability it gives us to customize and change the system as desired, even long after installation. Interested clients can even learn to use the framework tool themselves, opening the door to unlimited modifications and software customization at their discretion. Today CORRAD has gone through an evolution process to strengthen its ability.

CORRAD is locally developed product by CORRAD Software Sdn Bhd. We build and develop the product tailored to local requirement. Our vast experience of more than 20 years in software development is an added advantage to produce a software development tools that suitable for local software development project.

CORRAD is 100% open source product running on PHP as the backbone language without any third party technology. CORRAD supports leading databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle RDBMS, Sybase. Other databases could be used as we can create the database classes for the data access.

CORRAD Architecture

Our product are design according to world standard architecture, the 3 layer concept, the Presentation layer, Business layer and Data Access Layer been implemented in many other product and technology. CORRAD 3 layer base architecture is the back bone of the product. Customer who develops using our product will get used of the architecture easily as this is the common and standard architecture. Below is brief breakdown of the architecture:

Presentation layer
This is where the interface will be developed by customer; major part of the development of the interface will use CORRAD as the basis of system interface. Customer can reduce more than 50% of their time when using CORRAD interface design, which the function page edit, menu edit given customer more time to do other things.
Business layer
Here where all the business logic and business rules constructed by customer. Coding such as the SQL and PHP code will be used widely in this layer, Business process and management will be more code in this layer.
Data Access layer
Data access is where the schema and the database structure been design and constructed. This mostly will be done in the back end as the users do not see this process of development.

Menus are a must for just about all system. In Corrad, it is quick and painless to create menus. There are also several buttons such as new, update,delete and order to be used. Menu can be set as left menu, right menu and navigation menu. It is also used to differentiate each module in the system.

Page Editor

A page is used as a placeholder for all components and fields. Here also is the most important step in the system development which is Data Mapping.
Data Mapping allows easy linking of UI elements and models so that users can insert, edit or view the data from the database table without using a query. Please refer video tutorial on how to use it.
